hey man, mine was a 2010 reign x and i didnt have any issues, the frame had the old style iscg tabs so i just put an mrp g2 on. no probs! not sure if it's the same for the 09 tho...if its the standard reign, not the x, it might not have iscg tabs? check the giant website dude
